Congratulations to Zhengzhou Mingyang for Joining the National Standard Editorial Committee for China’s Sun‑shading Products

In response to national industrial development requirements and in accordance with the Notice of the Department of Standards and Quotas of the Ministry of Housing and Urban‑Rural Development on Issuing the Key Research Work Plan for Implementation Guidance and Supervision of Engineering Construction Standards for 2016 (Jianbiaoshihan〔2016〕No. 2), the Research on Compilation of Application and Implementation Guidelines for Architectural Sun‑shading Series Standards has been included in the work plan. China Institute of Building Standard Design & Research Co., Ltd., together with relevant institutions, is responsible for the relevant work.

The research output, Guidelines for Application and Implementation of Architectural Sun‑shading Series Standards (hereinafter referred to as “the Guidelines”), is developed on the basis of an accurate understanding of domestic and international development status of architectural sun‑shading technologies and products. Combined with the actual conditions of China’s architectural sun‑shading industry, it comprehensively interprets current national architectural sun‑shading standards and specifications covering architectural sun‑shading engineering design, construction and testing. It will provide systematic, comprehensive, simple and practical guidance for practitioners engaged in architectural sun‑shading‑related work, so that relevant architectural sun‑shading standards can be accurately understood and systematically implemented in practical operations. Efforts have been made to guarantee the quality of research and compilation of the Guidelines, ensuring its practicality, standardization, wide applicability and representativeness.

Zhengzhou Mingyang Window Decoration Materials Co., Ltd. has become one of the first members of the Editorial Committee for National Standards of China’s Sun‑shading Products.
